Medical TA Lead
Neko Health
Not specifiedJob Description
From Neko Health's job board on Ashby.
Mission
Neko is redefining what prevention means, from treating illness when it arrives, to sustaining health before it's ever at risk. Our mission: make data-driven, preventative care accessible to more people, before symptoms appear.
In a single, non-invasive visit under an hour, proprietary technology and direct clinical care combine to deliver personalised, actionable insights. It's a team that thinks in 10x, not 10%. Every role here plays a part in building a world where prevention is the norm, and where your work genuinely helps people live longer, healthier lives.
Role Purpose
We are looking for an exceptional US Medical TA Lead to own medical recruitment on the East Coast and to lead the recruiters who deliver it. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who has taken a clinical hiring plan from forecast to filled seats, built the team to do it, and can show the numbers.
Our clinical teams deliver the care that defines the member experience at Neko, so every hire shapes the quality of that care. We are post-Series C and opening clinics across the US. You will set the standard process, data and ways of working for US medical recruiting, while staying close enough to the work to run the funnel yourself when it matters.
What You’ll Deliver in the First 6–12 Months
• Deliver the East Coast medical hiring plan against clinic opening dates, with start dates holding. Forecast demand with Medical and Clinical Operations, sequence hiring to openings, and report hires against plan, time-to-fill and offer acceptance weekly from one source of truth.
• Raise funnel conversion, offer acceptance and speed. Diagnose bottlenecks by stage, act on the cause rather than adding volume, and stop work that does not move the numbers.
• Own and iterate the hiring process to deliver the highest quality clinical hires at pace.
• Build a team measured on outcomes. Set outcome-based goals, coach through regular performance conversations, add capacity in the order the plan requires, and develop a clear bench for the next step up.
• Have every new market ready before requisitions open. Build the talent picture early (talent supply, compensation, competitor activity) and bring proactive ideas on sourcing channels, events and realistic timelines to Medical leadership.
• Keep data and compliance clean so the pipeline can be trusted. Requisitions current, tools used consistently, and screening volumes tracked alongside conversion, with dashboards used to spot thin or stalled pipelines early. Licensing, credentialing, background checks and offer workflows completed with People, Legal and Rewards so every hire starts on the agreed date.
• Keep partners ahead of the plan. Run a regular rhythm of hiring updates with Medical leadership, Clinical Operations and Clinical Enablement: where the plan stands, current blockers, and opportunities to move faster.
• Lead team adoption of AI in sourcing, outreach and admin, with clear norms for validation, bias and data privacy, and a clear view of where AI must not make the decision.
• Leave a documented process and data standard that the wider US team can adopt without rebuilding, and represent Neko to clinicians and in professional networks, conferences and events.
Minimum Requirements
• 8+ years of recruitment experience, including 3+ years leading recruitment for clinical or healthcare roles in the US.
• Experience line-managing recruiters, with accountability for their performance, development and retention.
• A record of delivering high-volume or hard-to-fill US clinical hiring against a plan, with numbers to back it up (hires vs plan, time-to-fill, offer acceptance).
• Working knowledge of US clinical licensing and credentialing requirements across states.
• Strong judgment on trade-offs: speed, process consistency and quality measured against defined performance indicators, including saying no or re-scoping when the numbers call for it.
• Experience partnering with senior clinical and operational leaders and influencing decisions with data.
• A calm, solutions-first approach in fast-moving, ambiguous environments, ideally a scale-up.
• Experience entering or scaling new markets, including building local talent pipelines and proposing sourcing approaches and timelines ahead of need.
• Experience using dashboards and reports (Ashby or similar) to manage pipeline performance and to hold a team to data quality standards.
• Experience building or standardising a recruiting process across sites or teams.
• Fluent use of AI tools in sourcing, outreach, analysis and workflow, and the ability to teach others and set responsible-use standards.
• Experience managing an RPO (recruitment process outsourcing) partner, including performance against agreed service levels, is a plus.
We offer a dynamic work environment with a high degree of autonomy that fosters growth and development. If you are passionate about building a better healthcare system for everyone and you thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
