Job Description

From Mirendil's job board on Ashby.

Mirendil

Mirendil is a tech-first company focused on solving core bottlenecks that unlock step-change acceleration across science and technology. Our first goal is to democratize frontier AI R&D across scientific disciplines. We are building a frontier AI research company and training our own models end-to-end.

The Role

You'll build and improve the internal systems that keep Mirendil running. As an AI research lab, we work with a highly technical team and want our internal operations to reflect the same approach to problem-solving, automation, and efficiency.

You'll work across people operations, executive operations, and office systems to understand how work gets done, identify bottlenecks, and design technology-driven solutions. Your focus will be on connecting tools, automating repetitive processes, and building reliable systems that allow our researchers and engineers to focus on their work.

What You'll Own

  • Improve internal systems. Analyze existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and design and implement solutions that reduce manual work. Evaluate tools, document system requirements, and improve how information moves across the company.

  • Build better people operations systems. Improve the technology behind recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, and employee management. Configure and integrate internal platforms, automate administrative workflows, and ensure information is accurate and accessible.

  • Support research team operations. Work with researchers and engineers to understand their operational needs and improve the internal systems supporting their work. Develop workflows for employee onboarding, access requests, resource coordination, and internal information management.

  • Streamline executive operations. Design and implement systems that improve scheduling, task tracking, expense management, and information sharing. Build automated workflows that help leadership operate more efficiently.

  • Optimize office and administrative systems. Improve the technology behind vendor management, facilities, purchasing, and team logistics. Develop systems for tracking requests, managing approvals, and coordinating day-to-day operations.

  • Connect and automate tools. Evaluate existing software, identify opportunities for integration, and implement solutions that improve efficiency across teams. Configure applications and automate information flows between systems.

  • Test and improve. Test new systems and workflows, troubleshoot technical issues, document processes, and gather feedback to continuously improve how our internal tools operate.

Who You Are

  • You think in systems. You naturally look for ways to simplify workflows, eliminate repetitive tasks, and solve operational problems through technology.

  • You're technically resourceful. You're comfortable working with software platforms, integrations, and automation tools. You can translate operational needs into practical technical solutions.

  • You understand how technical teams operate. You can work closely with researchers, engineers, and leadership to understand their needs and build systems that support their work.

  • You exercise judgment, not just follow instructions. You can work with incomplete information, distinguish what matters from what doesn't, and know when to act and when to escalate.

  • Your follow-through is exceptional. You can take a systems improvement project from identifying a problem through implementation, testing, and ongoing improvement.

  • You combine high standards with low ego. You're comfortable working across functions, solving practical problems, and building systems that make other people more effective.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Digital Transformation, or a related field

  • Experience with business systems analysis, workflow automation, software implementation, or systems integration.

  • Ability to analyze operational requirements, document system workflows, and evaluate technical solutions.

We offer a base salary of $150,000–$200,000 and a meaningful equity grant, depending on experience and background, along with competitive benefits.
